Steps to Follow to Use ArcReader:

1.    Installing ArcReader

Download the Installation File or Request a DVD from the GIS Department

-   Download ArcReader  -  Rev 10.2.1  -  501 MB File  -  July 2015

-   Request a DVD by sending an E-Mail to:     merrittjoe@hotmail.com

2.    Download Data

Download Aerial Photography Datasets

There is much better photography available than the copies that are downloadable here for the years 2014 and 2012; the datasets here are compressed to save on space and increase speed in processing and in download. E-mail or telephone the GIS Department for the purchase of DVD's containing better resolution imagery.

The 2014 & 2012 photography is standard in each of the data packages.

Download Data Packages

The Data Packages do not include the aerial photography in the download; please refer to the Data Layer List for each of the packages. You can download both the 2014 and the 2012, one of them, or neither of them, with the links above.

2.    Confirm File Locations

Once you have installed ArcReader, and downloaded and extracted the Data Package of your choice, and the Aerial Photography of your choice, the folder in which all of the data resides should look like this...  (click for a PDF)

The files for the Aerial Photography should be placed in the subfolder "AerialPhotography"; see image below...

3.    Launch ArcReader 

Any file with the .pmf extension (example: ZoningArcReaderTemplate.pmf) is the file that ArcReader will open. Launch ArcReader and navigate to the folder containing the .pmf file and select it to launch.
